We're David and Elena Ansley.

On a warm July day in 2012 we met, began a relationship that August and after a sanctifying, tumultuous time we were engaged on Lake Austin, just as a November sun was setting in 2013. four quick months later, we said "I do" in a pasture, surrounded by many precious friends and family.

Two months later we discovered that "we" became "three" and by God's amazing grace welcomed the most adorable, wee Pumpkin (Ethan Santiago) into the world  thrity-nine weeks later.

We love seeing evidences of His faithful hand in our story,
how He's carried us through each green pasture and dark valley.
We are seekers of His grace and how to worship Him in our Utterly Mundane.
We savor cups of coffee, late nights of conversation, and fits of laughter that take our breath away.
We appreciate being surrounded by a language that we don't know and people we've never met.
We also have a thing for British miniseries. (hopelessly addicted would be a better phrase)

Our intention is to share our life and His love in this space and hopefully get to know you better too!
